Tammy Hadder

Tammy began her real estate career in 1977 working in rentals and property management at Sea Colony and the surrounding Bethany Beach area. She decided to further her real estate business and got her broker’s license in 1984. Over the years she enjoyed helping people find their perfect vacation rentals so much that she decided to take it to the next level and transitioned into sales in 1996. She is part of a real estate team that she and fellow team member, Anna Meiklejohn, formed in 2000. Today they are still working as a team for Long and Foster Real Estate, under the “Seaside Seven Group”. Tammy and Anna have found that this team concept allows them to give their customers the best possible service and attention to detail that they deserve. One of them is available 7 days a week all year. This team structure allows for a nice balance between work and family time. Together Tammy and Anna have participated in more than 1000 transactions with volume totaling more than $290 million.

Over the years Tammy has been active in the Sussex County association of realtors, even serving as treasurer of the organization for 2 years. She was a member of the education committee at the county level for over 10 years, and served on the state education committee for 4 years. She believes that keeping informed on the latest trends and constant changes in the industry improves her ability to provide her customers with the most up to date information and the best possible service. She also served on the Sussex County Association of Realtors Community Service Foundation for several years. She enjoys helping with the annual Realtor Auction hosted by the Foundation. Each year this auction raises thousands of dollars to benefit the needy children in Sussex County. Tammy likes to spend her free time enjoying her 8 year old granddaughter and 3 grandsons, reading, sewing, gardening or just relaxing on the beach.
